How to Wire Up Your Flow Series Halos/DRLs
Connect your Flow Series regulator, controller, and LEDs using the wiring layout and app instructions for your controller.
How do you connect a Flow Series controller?
Start with the correct regulator for the 5V LEDs. For Bluetooth Pro, connect the regulator to the Pro controller and the LEDs to its outputs. For standard Bluetooth/SP105E or handheld controllers, connect the regulator to the 4-output harness, then connect the controller and LEDs to the harness. Check the wiring before powering on, then use the correct app or remote.

What Is Needed?
Identify your controller before wiring. Bluetooth Pro and standard Bluetooth/SP105E or handheld controllers use different connection layouts.
4-Output Harness
Powers the standard controller and LEDs and carries the controller signal. Use this harness layout with the standard Bluetooth/SP105E or handheld setup shown below.
Handheld/Bluetooth Controller
Changes the lighting colors and patterns. Confirm your controller model and its matching wiring diagram.

Keep power disconnected while making connections. These Flow Series LEDs require regulated 5V power; do not connect them directly to the vehicle’s 12V supply.
- Connect the regulator to the Bluetooth Pro module using the matching gray connectors.
- Connect the halos or DRL strips to the LED outputs on the Pro controller module.
- If using optional vehicle signal inputs, follow the designated functions printed on the Pro module and the supplied instructions. Confirm the vehicle circuits before connecting.
- Connect the regulator’s power and ground using the power arrangement specified for your kit, such as its supplied relay or switched harness.
- Check polarity and connections, then power on and test.
Wiring Up Your System
For the standard Bluetooth/SP105E or handheld controller shown, use the 4-output harness layout. Disconnect power before connecting or changing any plugs.
- Connect the 4-output harness to the regulator with the supplied DT plug.
- Connect the controller module to the harness’s single female connection.
- Connect the LEDs to the remaining harness outputs.
- Connect the regulator’s positive and negative input wires to the power source specified for your kit.
- Check the connections, then power on and test all lights.
Connecting to Bluetooth
Bluetooth Pro: MotoAuto
Use MotoAuto for the Bluetooth Pro controller. Power the lighting system, enable phone Bluetooth and app Bluetooth access, then connect to the controller inside the app.
Standard Bluetooth/SP105E: Magic LED
Scan the QR code supplied with your SP105E controller to download Magic LED. Power on the system, enable phone Bluetooth, open Magic LED, and select SP105E inside the app.
If colors or effects are incorrect, check color order GRB and LED type SK6812-RGBW. These settings apply to SP105E.
Handheld Controller
Use the supplied handheld remote and its controller instructions. The handheld-only setup does not require an app.
Troubleshooting
No Lights
Disconnect power. Check the regulator input, polarity, and all plugs. Confirm the wiring path matches your controller and keep the regulator between vehicle power and the 5V LED system.
Only Some Lights Work
With power disconnected, inspect the affected output, splitter, and LED connections. Align matching connectors without forcing them.
Wrong Colors or Effects
For SP105E, verify GRB and SK6812-RGBW in Magic LED. For Bluetooth Pro, follow its MotoAuto settings and the instructions supplied with your controller.
Controller Does Not Appear in the App
Confirm that the system has power and Bluetooth is enabled with app access allowed. Use the app for your controller and connect inside it.
Common Questions
Do Flow Series halos and DRLs need a regulator?
The 5V Flow Series LEDs covered by this guide require the correct regulator between the vehicle’s 12V supply and the LED system. Do not connect these LEDs directly to 12V.
Which controller uses the 4-output harness?
The standard Bluetooth/SP105E or handheld layout shown uses the 4-output harness. Bluetooth Pro uses the regulator-to-controller layout with LEDs connected to the Pro outputs.
Which app does my controller use?
Bluetooth Pro uses MotoAuto. Standard Bluetooth/SP105E uses Magic LED. The handheld-only option uses its remote. Follow the documentation for any other controller model.
Are the vehicle signal inputs required?
They are optional for the Bluetooth Pro setup shown. If using them, follow the functions labeled on the module and verify the corresponding vehicle circuits.
