This GLI Badge has been designed to have a near universal fit with as many grilles as possible; OEM and Aftermarket. This badge from Lit Logos connects to your grille via 3M or zip ties. These are hidden behind the logo to allow for a clean install.
3M Mounting: Most OEM GTI/GLI badges are removable from the OEM grill via some clips. Behind it lies a flat surface with holes/slots in it for the clips to connect to as seen below. If your grill looks like this or has a flat surface to mount to, select 3M Mounting. Most OEM Grills will use 3M Mounting.F

Note for aftermarket grilles: If you have an aftermarket grille with a metal mesh, you may need to snip one of the links in order to fit the wire through the grille. The connector is 11mm at its widest part. Once the logo is installed, any modification will be completely hidden. This is not required for any OEM grilles.
