- Your Plug & Play RGB Flow Series Footwell Kit
- Access to a 12V power source
- Cleaning supplies (e.g., rubbing alcohol and a cloth)
- Smartphone with the Motoauto app installed (for setup)
1. Clean the Installation Area
- Before mounting the light strips, thoroughly clean the underside of your dashboard (driver and passenger footwells) with rubbing alcohol. This ensures strong adhesion of the 3M tape.
2. Position the Light Strips
- Locate flat, hidden surfaces under both the front dashboard (driver and passenger sides) and underneath the front seats to illuminate the rear seat footwells.
- Peel off the red backing from the pre-installed 3M tape.
- Firmly press the strips into place on all four footwell zones and hold each for 10–15 seconds to ensure a strong, lasting bond.
- Make sure no strip is exposed to foot traffic and all wiring is tucked neatly out of the way.
3. Connect the Strips to the Controller
- Your LED strips come pre-wired and labeled. Secure any extra wiring with zip ties or adhesive clips (not included) to keep your setup tidy and out of the way.
4. Power the Kit
- Plug the harness into your vehicle’s 12V accessory port
5. Download & Set Up the Motoauto App
- Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and download the Motoauto app.
- Open the app and allow Bluetooth access.
- Your controller should appear—tap to pair. You can now control colors, patterns, brightness, and effects directly from your phone.
- Want to sync it with your Dash Trim Kit? Just pair them in the app for unified lighting control.
- Test your lighting before finalizing installation to ensure placement and power are correct.
- If strips ever come loose, clean the surface and reapply with fresh 3M tape or adhesive mounts.
- For a factory-clean install, route wires behind panels when possible.
