Warranty Policy

Is there a warranty for your products?

  • Self-installed products are covered by a one-year warranty unless otherwise noted in the product listing.
  • The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is not transferable.
  • Products installed by an authorized Lighting Trendz dealer are covered by a lifetime warranty for manufacturing defects or failures only. The warranty does not cover items that have been modified or physically damaged.
  • Installation errors and damage caused by improper installation are not covered under warranty. Examples of damage caused by improper installation include water damage, bent or damaged wheel ring metal, and physically damaged halos. We recommend mounting all controllers and wiring away from excessive heat. If you are unsure how to install our products, please contact us with any questions. We are happy to help walk you through installation or direct you to one of our professional installers or dealers in your area.
  • Lighting Trendz is not responsible for any costs incurred during installation or warranty replacement.
  • If you need parts replaced under warranty, please take photos of the issue or product, complete the warranty form linked below, and submit it. Your warranty request will be processed, and you will receive a response by email.

Stipulations

All warranties are non-transferable. Warranty terms and policies are subject to change without notice.

If you need a replacement product, Lighting Trendz reserves the right to replace an obsolete product with a comparable model currently in production. If an issue with a Lighting Trendz product is not covered by this warranty, we can arrange to have the product repaired or replaced for a reasonable fee.

All warranties, express or implied, are void if our warranty claims department determines that there is sufficient evidence of one or more of the following:

  • Abuse: Damage beyond normal wear and tear.
  • Unauthorized repair: Repair service performed or attempted by an unauthorized party.
  • Unauthorized dealer: Purchase of items through an unauthorized party.

How are warranty parts shipped?

Customers are responsible for shipping charges for replacement or missing parts shipped more than 30 days after the delivery date. Shipping charges, with a minimum of $10.70, will be invoiced directly to the customer. If you are outside the U.S., you are required to pay only the shipping costs to deliver your replacement part. If you purchased from one of our dealers, that dealer is responsible for the warranty replacement and should be contacted directly. If you request another shipping method, including UPS Air or a preferred carrier, you are responsible for all costs associated with that method.
